Open your mind and prepare your palate as we showcase another batch of vino for The Standish’s latest wine tasting this 24th June 2017, Saturday, at 2 PM to 5 PM. We are inviting all wine aficionados and newbies alike as we present Spanish brands, Alonso del Yerro, Finca Nueva Reserva, Finca Nueva Rioja, and Javier Sanz Verdejo.

Alonzo del Yerro

Being a family-run business, they take wine-making to heart by giving it great care of every detail as if it was their home. Their grapes are sourced exclusively from their own vineyards as they constantly strive to produce an accessible range of terroir-driven wines.

Finca Nueva Reserva

Some say that this wine gives a dominant soft cherry and plum character with hint of vanilla nuances. See if it caresses your tastebuds the same way. Some critics rate this wine highly, having received a 2010 vintage score of 92 by Guia Repsol.

Finca Nueva Rioja

Enjoy this red that is made from 100% Tempranillo grapes that are harvested manually and fermented for 20 days. It is then aged for 24 months in French oak barrels before it gets bottled without being filtered or clarified. This wine is said to be perfect for roasted red meats, grilled red meats and anything roasted.

Javier Sanz Verdejo

Deemed as the best expression of Rueda and its terroir. This wine burst of youthful flavours and a nose that gives you fresh and lively varietal.

Come and treat your senses to another celebration of wine culture as we discover another addition to our increasing selection of fine wines. Come on over to #02-33 this Saturday and let’s enjoy another wine tasting event. Salud!
